ELITEUSA IN PARIS—STYLE REPORT! 🗞💕

While in Paris, we shopped at Chanel, Charles Oudin, Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Roger Vivier to name a few of our Parisian must-sees. We spotted endless style in boutiques and on the streets. Curious to know which Parisian fashion trends we spotted most? Bien sur! You’re in for a treat.

As we soaked in the fineries Paris has to offer—art, food, history, culture and of course fashion, we spotted significantly more Hermès Kelly bags than Birkins. Ç'est vrai! We were equally shocked, but certainly approve of Kelly being the popular bag on the block.

We strolled the most fashionable avenues—Montaigne, Champs-Élysées and Rue Saint Honore. No matter where we went, without fail, the most popular ensemble roaming the city was très chic and très décontracté (very relaxed). Imagine an oversized trench styled with cool denim and even cooler sneakers—a simple, fail proof recipe for achieving an effortlessly chic, Parisian-inspired look.

Even if it's not raining (in Paris or wherever you are) a trench is always a good idea! Don’t have this closet staple? Check out one of our favorite trenches by Alexander McQueen.

In terms of jeans, we’re currently obsessed with Loewe denim and for the perfect sneaker, look no further than On.

*Side note* eliteUSA personal stylists love the On X Loewe sneaker collaboration featured below on the left.

So, what’s the perfect bag to wear alongside this ensemble you might ask? Well, there’s no right or wrong answer. Given the look’s casual simplicity—we suggest folding in your favorite handbag or trendy statement piece. Truly, any bag will work, but the It bag we spotted most accompanying this look in Paris was . . . (drumroll please) . . . a BIG bag!

Oui! We predict the next big fashion trend, literally, is that big bags are back. The mini bag has had an extended moment. And although we don’t think the fashion world’s small bag obsession will vanish overnight, we do feel the tiny bag trend is slowing down. Inevitably, Mini Kelly bags made an appearance in Paris, but we saw way more Kelly 28s, 32s, Birkin 30s and 35s.

The general consensus? BIG bags are in! With their ability to carry more—there’s simply more to love. Honestly, we’re just as shocked as you, but at the same time we’ve been patiently waiting for a change. Big bags like the YSL Icare Maxi Shopper, Birkin 35, Chanel 22 and more are on our radar.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to add this look into your wardrobe and willing to tuck your micros and minis away to make space for something roomier? Stay tuned for our next blog post, where we dive into the big bag trend further! Till Then đź’Ś
